Who are eligible to apply for Singapore PR?

What is the criteria for granting of Singapore PR?

All applications are assessed with a range of criteria, some of which include economic contribution to Singapore, educational/professional qualifications and the ability to integrate with Singapore society.

Is there a ‘quota’ for the number of PR applications granted annually?

The Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) has not indicated that there is any such quota. The Singapore Government grants PR to applicants on a holistic basis while balancing the delicate composition of the country and addressing any gaps in occupational expertise, in accordance to the Population White Paper.

When will I be notified of the outcome of my Singapore PR application?

After submitting the Singapore PR application to the ICA, typical processing times for applications with correct and complete documentation is between 4-6 months. Some applications could take longer to review before you’re notified of the outcome.
